Noelle Decambra passed away at age 56 on January 30th, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Noelle was born in Castro Valley, California, on December 8, 1967, and grew up in San Leandro, California, with her parents, Jenny and Arthur Pinto, and two sisters, Mindy and Jennilynne.
She graduated from Arroyo High School in 1986. She is survived by her two daughters, Hannah and Ava McDonald, and husband, Jason McDonald. She met Jason in 1993 at their shared place of work. Quickly, the two fell in love and, after dating in July of that year, married on December 26, 1993. As for her marriage, Noelle and Jason divorced, were remarried in California, and had their marriage consecrated in the Catholic Church in 2020 in Oklahoma. It was a love neither could run away from. Noelle loved collecting Disney dolls, crafting, Barry Manilow, The Big Bang Theory, and her family immensely. Yet she struggled with addiction for most of her life and ultimately passed away from an overdose. Having known darkness herself, Noelle was always the open arms to which any lost soul could confide, no matter how broken the person. Her resilience continues to flow through her family and loved ones as she leaves behind a legacy of compassion and loyalty built throughout her lifetime. Noelle is predeceased by Arthur Pinto, Jenny Pinto, Jennilynne Pinto, and cats Sammy and Sabrina. She led a life filled with ferocity and the most loyal kind of love. Noelle claimed her greatest achievement was being a mother armed with ample ferocity of love for her children; however, her life and legacy have forever imprinted upon the people she touched, whether that was a stranger in the supermarket or her own daughters and husband. To quote her husband's favorite movie, "The Fault in Our Stars," "It's not nothing. Because I love you, and I'm going to remember you."
She will be buried at Holy Sepulchre in Hayward, California, on February 8th, 2024, preceding mass at St. Leanders in San Leandro, California, at 12:30 pm. To know Noelle was to love her. Everyone who knew this child of God is welcome to pay their respects. "The more the merrier," exactly the way she would have wanted it.
