Marie S. Savino

Marie Santa Savino, Born March 9,1925 in Niagara Falls, NY. Marie, the eldest child of

Ulisee “Bill” and Lucia “Lucy” Bevilacqua, passed away on June 2, 2024. Following the end

of WWII, Marie married her husband Frank Savino, of Oakland, CA, on Columbus Day,

1947. Frank and Marie raised their family, in the home they built in San Leandro. She is

survived by children Richard Savino (Maureen), Ken Savino (Susan) and Nancy Rodrigues

(Steve). Beloved grandmother of Cari Cruckson (Jamie), Brian Savino, Anna Savino Brizio

(Claudio), Michael Savino (Marissa), Stefanie Bradley (Chad) & Kimberly Dehl (Corey).

Great-grandmother to Emily, Katherine, Cassidy, Nicola, Stella, Austin, Logan, Joshua,

Dani, Jack and Lily. Also, her sister Yolanda Selmeczki and brother Jerry Bevilacqua (Gail).

Marie was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Frank Savino and brother Edward Bevilacqua.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday June 12, 2024 from

4:00pm to 8pm at Santos Robinson Mortuary 160 Estudillo Ave. San Leandro. The Funeral

Liturgy celebrating her life will be on Thursday at 11:00am at Assumption Catholic Church

with a reception to follow. Interment private at St. Augustine Cemetery in Pleasanton. In lieu

of flowers, the family suggests a contribution to a charity of your choice.
