Kent William Myers, passed away peacefully at his home on February 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Michal. Kent will be deeply missed by his sons, Timothy and Troy; daughters-in-law, Brenda and Yvonne; cherished grandchildren, Karina, Morgan, Micaela, and Logan; and a wide circle of dear friends.

A dedicated public servant, Kent served his community in numerous leadership roles, including Vice Mayor and Council Member of San Leandro, Board Chairman of Eden and San Leandro Hospitals, Chairman of the San Leandro Police Chief’s Advisory Board, and Commodore of Spinnaker Yacht Club. His distinguished 45-year career as CFO of D.W. Nicholson continued into his retirement with service on their board.

Kent will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.

Friends and family are invited to the following events in celebration of his life and legacy:

  Visitation at Santos-Robinson Mortuary on Tuesday, February 18, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

  Funeral service at St. Felicitas Church in San Leandro on Wednesday, February 19, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

   Luncheon reception to follow at St. Felicitas Church.

  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward at 2:30pm
