Annette Rivera

Annette Rivera, 99 years old, of Dublin, California passed peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Annette was born on May 3, 1924 to Dario and Maria Benitez in Madera, California where she lived as a young girl before moving to San Leandro at the age of 17. Annette worked at Sunshine Biscuits in Oakland, California where she met her husband Paul Rivera. They married in 1950 and moved to Dublin, California in 1961 where they raised their two daughters Martha and Stephanie. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She always put others first before herself and had so much love for her husband of 72 years and her family. She is survived by her husband, 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 1 great-great grandchild. Annette was preceded in death by her 4 brothers and 2 sisters and was the last remaining child of Dario and Maria Benitez.
